OORT (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects and protects the privacy of those who explore OORT’s products and services (“Services”, including OORT AION) and those who sign up for and access our Services (“Customers”, “Users”, “you” and “your”).

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information when you explore, sign up for or access our Services offered on our websites (“Site” and collectively the “Sites”) or when you get access to Services using the OORT Wallet mobile app and our other apps (“Apps”) and related services.

All “Personal Information” (which is defined as any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact, or locate the person to whom such information pertains) that we collect and maintain will be subject to this Privacy Policy, as amended from time to time.

We collect and use your information in order to provide and improve our Services and your experience, protect the security and integrity of our platform, and meet our legal obligations.

We may share your information with other third-party companies and institutions as well as trusted third parties and service providers, in order to offer our Services and fulfill legal requirements.

It is important that you understand how we collect, use and share your information. You should read this privacy policy in full. If you do not wish your personal information to be collected, used, or disclosed as described in this Privacy Policy, or you are under 18 years of age, you should stop accessing our Services. Your accessing and using our Services means that you accept this Privacy Policy and its terms. 1. What Information We Collect

We may collect the following personal information and documentation:

1.1

Email address, Social Media information, including but not limited to Twitter account (user name, registration date and time, number of followers/following), IP address, Name, Address, Location, Date of birth, Gender, Marital status, Age, Native language, Degree obtained, Field of study, Current occupation.

1.2

Biometric information generated based on photos or videos you provide.

1.3

Financial information: credit card information, bank account information, Apple Pay or Google Pay information.

1.4

Wallet Information: we collect your Wallet address and information, and transactions information.

1.5

Preferences: Permission to camera, microphone and OORT storage access.

1.6

Transaction Information: Information about the transactions made on our Services, such as the address/name of the sender, the address/name of the recipient, the amount, phone number currency preferences, date, and/or timestamp, IP address, Device ID, Behavior Data etc.

1.7

Communications: including communications with interfaces such as our in-app customer support message, Voting responses, information provided to our team for queries and/or complaints.

1.8

Referral Information: Your contacts’ information if you choose to invite friends to OORT AION.

1.9

Your App, browser, operating system, and device information.

1.10

Activity information: Information about what you view or click on while visiting our Sites and Apps and how you use our Services.

Diagnostic and Troubleshooting Information: Information about how our Services are performing when you use them, i.e. service-related diagnostic and performance information, and error messages or reports.

Information from cookies and similar technologies.

Information we obtain from our other Services and Products, and third parties: We may obtain information about you, such as Basic Customer Information, Transaction Information and Product Usage Information as a normal part of conducting business from our other Services and Products, and from third parties. For instance, if you link your OORT AION/Datahub with OORT Wallet account, we may track your Wallet Information and Financial Information in order to proceed with OORT AION services.

Public Database Information: We may obtain information about you from public databases, such as the United Nations Sanctions List, and the US ITA Consolidated Screening List etc using the information you provided to us, including your name, address, email address, phone number, gender, national ID number and nationality/country of residence, date of birth, job role, public employment profile, listing on any sanctions lists maintained by public authorities, and other data as necessary.

Blockchain Data: We may analyze public blockchain data, including timestamps of transactions or events, transaction IDs, digital signatures, transaction amounts, and wallet addresses.

Information from Analytics Providers: We may receive information about you, such as your Site usage, interactions, age group, and survey responses etc.

1.17

Retail Merchant Information: If you use your OORT Wallet account to conduct a transaction with a third-party merchant, the merchant may provide us with data about you, such as your name and contact details, and your transaction with that merchant.

1.18

Research and In-App Survey Information: We may use third-party service providers to conduct in-app surveys to better understand our Customers’ experience and improve our Services. The information we receive from our research partners is pseudonymous.

Depending upon the activity, some of the information that we ask you to provide is identified as mandatory and some as voluntary. If you do not provide the mandatory data with respect to a particular activity, you will not be able to engage in that activity.

Updating Your Personal Information

Upon request OORT will provide you with information about and access to your Personal Information that we process. To request this information please contact us through datahub@oortech.com.

You have the right to access and correct, withdraw your consent or delete your Personal Information at any time. If you wish to delete your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services, follow the instructions at that link. For security purposes, certain Personal Information can only be changed by contacting datahub@oortech.com. We will respond to your request promptly within a reasonable timeframe.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to deliver, personalize, operate, improve, create, and develop our Services, to provide you with a secure, smooth, efficient and customized experience as you use them, and for legal compliance, loss prevention, and anti-fraud purposes. We use certain information that is necessary to conclude and perform our Services or other relevant contract(s) (such as Terms of Use etc) with you. We will need to terminate your account if we cannot process your personal information for such purposes.

Why and How We Use Your Information:

To create and maintain your account: In order to provide you with our Services, and to allow you to set up an account and profile.

To provide you with our Services: In order to provide you with personalized Services on OORT AION platform.

2.2.3

To provide customer support: To address your request for support to OORT AION and to respond to customer care and other inquiries, including providing chat message support (including chatbots).

2.2.4

To send Service communications: To send you administrative or account-related communications about our Services, which can include security updates or other product and services related information, through email, or in-product/push notifications. You may not opt-out of receiving critical service communications, such as emails or in-product/push notifications sent for legal or security purposes.

2.2.5

To promote the safety, security and integrity of our Services: To verify accounts and related activity, find and address violations of our Terms of Use or policies, investigate suspicious activity, detect, prevent and combat harmful or unlawful behaviour, detect fraudulent behaviour and to maintain the integrity of our Services, including account takeover (“ATO”) prevention and support.

3. How and Why We Share Your Information

3.1

We work with service providers, partners and other third parties to help us provide our Services, and as a result we need to share certain information with these third parties. Please refer to our Terms of Use for more details.

We share your information with our advisors, regulators, tax authorities, law enforcement, government agencies, and industry partners to:

4. How Long We Retain Your Personal Information

We retain your information as needed to provide our Services, comply with legal obligations, or protect our or others’ interests. We will retain your information for as long as your account is active and your information is needed to provide you services, as necessary to validate or enforce the licenses to use Content, or as required to fulfill our legal obligations. 5. Children's Personal Information

Our websites and Services are not directed to persons under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly request or collect any information about persons under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, please do not provide any personal information through our Websites or Services. If a User or Customer submitting personal information is suspected of being younger than 18 years of age, we will require the relevant Customer or User to close his or her account, and will take steps to delete the individual’s information as soon as possible.

6. International Transfers

You understand and accept that public blockchain-based systems depend on independent validators and blockchain technology uses an in-built decentralized governance system. Thus, to facilitate our global operations, we may transfer, store, and process your personal information throughout the world.

For example, because we operate and provide our Services globally, we may need to share your information with our global partners and service providers in different jurisdictions in order to develop, offer, and improve our Services.

7. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Right to non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights provided to you under law.

To protect your privacy and security, we may take steps to verify your identity before complying with your request and we may decline your request if we are unable to verify your identity.

9. Referral Program Emails

If you choose to use our referral service to tell someone else about our Site, share a link, or invite someone to OORT AION, we will ask you the referred person’s name and email address. We will automatically send the referred person a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the Site. OORT stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email, tracking the success of our referral program, and managing access to OORT AION.

Your referred person may contact datahub@oortech.com to request that we remove this information from our database.

10. Marketing Communications & Newsletter Consent

By providing your email address during registration or account setup, you expressly consent to receive promotional newsletters, marketing materials, and other communications (collectively, “Newsletters”) from OORT at the email address you provided.

10.1

Frequency & Content: Newsletters may include product updates, special offers, company news, or curated content. The frequency is irregular and may vary based on your preferences or our campaigns.

10.2

Opt-Out: You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in any Newsletter, or contacting us at datahub@oortech.com. Unsubscribing may take up to 5 business days to process.

10.3

Data Use: Your email address will only be used for the purposes described herein and in accordance with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

11. Trademark Declaration

All trademarks, service marks, trade names, and logos displayed on our website and App or any other related platforms (collectively, the “Trademarks”) are the property of Oortech Inc and/or their respective owners. This includes, without limitation, the OORT® mark and OORT’s logo® which are a registered trademark of Oortech Inc in the United States and other jurisdictions that may apply.

You may not use, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, or modify any of the Trademarks in any way without our prior written authorization. Unauthorized use of the Trademarks, or any confusingly similar marks, constitutes trademark infringement and may violate applicable laws.
